Here’s a nice video of a hill climb contest in Lisbon where cyclists took to the route of one of the Portuguese capital’s most historic funicular railways, the Elevador da Glória.
The climb is only 265m long but with a gradient of 17%+ (and some parts reaching 28 percent) and with wet cobbles and the train tracks to deal with, the climb was far from easy.
