Ineos Grenadiers has announced the riders which will they will send in the UAE Tour. Among the seven names are Adam Yates and Daniel Martinez, who will be racing in the jersey of the British team for the first time.
Yates came over from Mitchelton-Scott this winter and is the defending champion in the Emirates race. A year ago, the Briton was declared the winner after five days, as the last two stages were canceled due to coronavirus cases in the peloton.
Martinez left EF Pro Cycling after three seasons and appears for the first time at the start of the seven-day race. In addition to Yates and Martínez, Andrey Amador, Brandon Rivera and Luke Rowe also make their seasonal debut.
Two riders have already raced some kilometers. Ivan Sosa rode the Tour de La Provence last week, where he won the stage to Mont Ventoux and claimed the final classification. World time trial champion Filippo Ganna already came into action in the Etoile de Besseges where he won two stages.
