Marcel Kittel and Chris Froome are never go head-to-head on the bike with the British rider concentrating on Grand Tour overall classifications, while Kittel focuses on bunch sprints.
However, in an unlikely showdown, the pair battle it out over a friendly arm-wrestle as the professional peloton gathered for a final get together before winter at the Shanghai Criterium. The German was always going to be the favourite but Froome tried to attack him a few times in a bid to catch him off guard.
