AG2R La Mondiale will continue next season as AG2R Citroën and that includes a new kit.

The French team opted for a major change with the new jersey blazoned with AG2R CITROËN splashed across a white backdrop. The pants are still brown.

The logos and names of the main sponsors are also clearly visible on the sleeves and shoulders. At the end of the sleeves is also the name of the new bike sponsor BMC.

“A jersey unites our entire team, from the riders to members of staff and the management,” team manager Vincent Lavenu said. “It is also a visual rallying point for our fans. This Ag2r-Citroën team jersey marks the start of a new chapter in our history.”

2021 sees the outfit swapping to BMC bikes after spending two years riding Eddy Merckx with the Swiss brand also providing the bikes for Qhubeka-Assos.

Besides Greg Van Avermaet, AG2R-Citroën’s other big name addition for 2021 is Bob Jungels, who moves from Deceuninck-Quick-Step. However, a core of Frenchmen is leaving the team: Romain Bardet joined Team DSM, while Pierre Latour, Alexis Vuillermoz and Alexandre Geniez all headed to Total Direct Energie.
