A cyclist has lashed out after releasing footage of a near-miss with an ambulance – but the emergency service says he should have got out of the way.
Ian Hunter tweeted the short clip to West Midlands Ambulance Service and West Midlands Police with the caption “saving lives while trying to take mine #shameful”.
In the footage, an ambulance can be seen rushing to a patient’s aid while in the outside lane approaching a roundabout. The vehicle then moves across the two lanes to enter into the first lane of the roundabout.
