An Australian cyclist who claimed to have footage of a car illegally overtaking him has been handed a fine by police.
Footage shows a car driving dangerously close to the cyclist in a bid to overtake as they both travel down a hill.
The cyclist said he took the footage to police but ended up getting booked himself for not riding as near to left of the road as possible.

The outcome has divided people online with some calling the decision “ridiculous”, urging the driver to push back on the decision, while others say he had more than enough room to move over.
