Caleb Ewan to spearhead Lotto-Soudal at Tour Down Under

In less than three weeks the new cycling season begins. The Tour Down Under (15 – 20 January) is again the opening race of the season.

One week later the Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race (27 January) is scheduled, the second WorldTour race of the year.

Lotto-Soudal has announced the rosters for the first races of the 2019 season and Caleb Ewan will make his debut with the Belgian team at the Australian races.

Ewan, who joined the Belgian based outfit after several seasons with Mitchelton-Scott, will have Tour de France mountains classification winner Thomas De Gendt (BEL), Adam Blythe (GBR), Carl Fredrik Hagen (NOR), Roger Kluge (GER), Tomasz Marczynski (POL) and fellow Australian Adam Hansen looking out for him.

Lotto Soudal for the Challenge Mallorca: Sander Armée, Frederik Frison, Rasmus Iversen, Bjorg Lambrecht, Maxime Monfort, Lawrence Naesen, Brian van Goethem, Harm Vanhoucke, Tim Wellens and Enzo Wouters.

Lotto Soudal for Etoile de Bessèges: Sander Armée, Rémy Mertz, Maxime Monfort, Lawrence Naesen, Brian van Goethem, Tim Wellens and Enzo Wouters.
