A rigorous change in the color scheme of the Movistar kit will happen for 2022 season.
The Spanish team of Alejandro Valverde, Enric Mas and Annemiek van Vleuten rode in recent years in a light blue shirt with the M of Movistar in dark blue, but the team of Eusebio Unzue presented the kit for 2022 in a reversed variant.
Valverde and co will therefore be seen in a predominantly dark blue outfit next year. The M of the main sponsor is colored in the same shade of light blue that has prevailed in recent years.
Just like last season, the Movistar women’s team – including top talent Emma Norsgaard and of course the world’s best rider of 2021 Annemiek van Vleuten – will be wearing exactly the same kit.
The new look comes from the Italian brand, La Passione, which replaces Alé as the team’s new clothing brand. This comes after just over two years with Alé, who took the place of Endura.
