Milan Menten (Bingoal Pauwels WB) won the Cro Race third stage from Primošten to Makarska and took the lead in the overall standings.
The 167km stage saw riders tackle a series of hills late before Menten won a nail-biting sprint finish. He overtook Dutchman Mick van Dijk (Jumbo-Visma), while third place was taken by Anders Skaarseth (Uno-X).
With a stage victory, Menten also took the lead in the overall standings with three seconds ahead of Skaarset, and four ahead of third-placed Van Dijk.
