Jumbo-Visma will ride Cervélo bikes from 2021 and will therefore say goodbye to Bianchi, but the Dutch WorldTour formation will once again put the Italian bicycle manufacturer in the limelight with a worldwide campaign and an online auction of iconic Bianchi bicycles.

In 2014, the then Belkin (now Jumbo-Visma) entered into a partnership with the Italian bicycle manufacturer Bianchi and left Giant. Since then, the team took many victories, including stage victories in the Tour de France, monuments and twice the general classification of the Vuelta a Espana.

To share all the joint stories of the riders and their bikes, the team is launching a worldwide auction. This campaign emphasizes the beautiful moments with Bianchi. Jumbo-Visma also wants to find new, passionate owners for some of the most special bicycles.

“To share all of the joint stories of our riders and their bikes, we are launching a worldwide campaign to say goodbye,” read a team statement. “This campaign emphasizes the beautiful moments we have shared and at the same time we want to find new passionate owners for some of the most special bikes. So that these Bianchis can create new stories and continue their adventures.”

“We wanted to say goodbye to our partner in a way that suits this partnership,” said Jumbo-Visma director Richard Plugge. “All the stories we have created with Bianchi are valuable to us. We want to highlight this in our campaign. This is our way of saying grazie mille.
