Nairo Quintana will continue riding on Canyon bikes in 2020 as his new team Arkea-Samsic confirmed it would be partnering with the German manufacturer.
The switch to Canyon is one of multiple changes for the French Pro-Continental outfit, which raced on BH bikes in 2019, as it heads in the coming year.
Canyon should have its bikes present with two teams on the 2020 Tour de France start line next summer with Movistar also using the German brand. With Katusha-Alpecin being replaced in the WorldTour by Israel Cycling Academy, Canyon will drop down to just one top tier sponsorship for next season.
“We’ve signed a two-year deal with Canyon – a premium and an innovative, proven brand with years of experience on the professional circuit,” said Arkéa-Samsic general manager Emmanuel Hubert in the team press release.
