2022 Tour de Romandie – stage 4 preview

0

No big suprise in stage 3 , with a final bunch sprint with more than 50 riders in the same time. Patrick Bevin starts his sprint before Ethan Hayter and Rohann Dennis and they stay in that order for podium stage.

We are coming now, in money times and important things… with 4157 meters climbing.

STAGE 4

A cold and rainy stage not meant for the weak ones.

The 6 categorised climbs will probably see an early break away with the climb classification hopeful. The big guns will wait to fight it for the overall. The only question that remains is whether the stage victory will go to the break away or the main group.

Lulu: Thibaut Pinot will aim to win the king stage of Romandie.

Bora-Hansgrohe has more irons on fire, Felix Großschartner and  Aleksandr Vlasov are climbers with the qualities to expect a final win.

Damiano Caruso will hope for a win like in Etna stage of Giro de Sicilia.

Rohann Dennis will do all to stay in general classification.

CC2004: 180.1km with 4157 m of climbing surely another stage for the GC contenders. Bora-hansgrohe will have the guns to win it with either one of their leaders.

Mufcfaan: Long, mountainous, cold and rainy? It is big-ben time!
