Heavy rain the night before the Polish Cyclocross Championships made parts of the course turned into what must have felt like very cold mud bath.
In one muddy section the riders ran into the nightmare scenario with that section more suited to bog snorkeling than cyclocross racing. Some riders managed to get through it with minimal effort while others unfortunately stepped into the deepest sections of mud and were waist-deep in an instant.
