Peter Sagan (Bora-hansgrohe) has announced that he will ride a full Spring Classics campaign, including Amstel Gold Race and Liège–Bastogne–Liège.

Sagan’s first Monument of the season will be Milan-San Remo where he has finished twice on two occasions (2013 and 2017).

After that he will ride the Northern Classics, looking to add to his victory at the Tour of Flanders in 2016 and Paris–Roubaix in 2018.

As with last year, he won’t rest after Roubaix and will line up at Amstel Gold where he finished in fourth place last year, before wrapping up his spring campaign at Liège–Bastogne–Liège.

“I will be racing in Australia and also in Argentina at the beginning of next year, and so will begin my season in Europe a bit later,” said Sagan.

“My goals, however, remain unchanged: Sanremo, Flanders and Roubaix, but I will also ride Amstel and Liège. With the addition of Jempy (Drucker) and Oscar (Gatto), we have been able to strengthen our squad for the Classics. After the Classics, I will once again prepare for the Tour de France.”
