Andrey Amador is set to break his contract with Movistar to join Ineos for 2020 season, according to Marca.
The Costa Rican will join Movistar teammate Carapaz at the British squad, and is one of a number of riders who are leaving the Spanish outfit at the end of the season.
Mikel Landa is on his way to Bahrain-Merida, Nairo Quintana has signed for Arkéa-Samsic alongside Winner Anacona, while Jasha Sütterlin joins Sunweb.
“It seems that we have become a subsidiary of Ineos,” an anonymous Movistar source told Marca.
The departures of some of Movistar’s best riders has caused a “war” between Movistar boss Eusebio Unzué and agent Giuseppe Acquadro.
Amador will become the third Acquadro client to break a contract with his current team in order to move to Ineos after Egan Bernal and Ivan Sosa.
