A video posted by Rick Zabel shows Cofidis rider Marco Mathis narrowly avoiding oncoming car as he negotiates his way through a blind corner on the descent.
As the vehicle approaches, Mathis can be seen adjusting his line to avoid contact. “Don’t try this at home,” Zabel wrote.
