Marc Hirschi signs for Tudor Pro Cycling

Rumors around a move of Marc Hirschi have been circulating since the beginning of the year, but Tudor has now confirmed the arrival of the Swiss rider.

Hirschi made his breakthrough in 2020 with a win in the Fleche Wallonne and a stage win at the Tour de France. In January of the following year, he left the DSM team prematurely and in a controversial way to sign with UAE Team Emirates.

He was initially unable to confirm his previous performances in his first season with the new team, partly due to injuries. However, Hirschi performed strongly last autumn with several victories in the Italian classics, but 2024 was the year in which he also started performing at WorldTour level again. In addition to the recent win in San Sebastian, he came second in the Amstel Gold Race. He also won the Drôme Classic and the recent Czech Tour.

“As a Swiss rider, it feels special to join a Swiss team”, said Hirschi. “I am 25 so it is time for me to endorse the role of a leader and see how far I can go. Tudor Pro Cycling is giving me this opportunity and I hope to return the trust with some fine victories.”

For Fabian Cancellara Hirschi’s arrival is another milestone for the Swiss team: “Signing Marc feels like the next piece of the puzzle of our story. We have been supporting him for some time, we know him well and understand his needs. He is the right fit for the team and the values we stand for. We are convinced we can help him to achieve the highest level.”
