After Tuesday’s queen stage of the Giro d’Italia, it was determined that Lotto Soudal rider Lars Bak was the heaviest rider to top the Stelvio.
Therefore, the Danish rider was awarded 100 bottles of Kwaremont beer by Italian cycling cafe Stelvio Bike Experience.

The winner of the beer weighed in at 80kg, beating Marcin Bialoblocki (CCC) at 79 kilos and Team Sunweb’s Tom Stamsnijder at 77 kilos.
Jasper Stuyven wasn’t happy with the results stating that he weighed over the winning weight of 80kg.
