The save of the week comes from Christophe Laporte. His rear wheel collapsed completely on the cobblestones of Paris-Roubaix. However, the French rider managed to stay up.
Paris-Roubaix demands a lot from the bicycles and Christophe Laporte can have a say in that. The rider of Jumbo-Visma was shocked when his rear wheel collapsed under the pressure of the cobblestones.
Miraculously, Laporte avoided a fall but unfortunately his efforts came to nothing and he was the only member of his team not to finish the race.
