Dylan Groenewegen (Jumbo-Visma) was the fastest sprinter on stage 4 of Tour de Wallonie as he outsprinted Giacomo Nizzolo (Qhubeka-NextHash) and Fernando Gaviria (UAE Team Emirates) on the line in Fleurus.
“After a really hard stage we had a small group. In the end it was a sprint, and the team did a really good lead out. I did 200 metres, and it was enough,” Groenewegen said.
“I have some more races and then it’s better and better. I’m not at 100 per cent yet, but it’s close.”
Quinn Simmons retains the race lead ahead of Saturday’s final stage, a 192-kilometre day from Dinant to Quaregnon.
