At 46 years of age, Davide Rebellin has landed a new contract and he will ride with Natura4Ever-Sovac team in 2018.
Professional cyclist since 1992, the Italian rider will join new continental team Natura4Ever-Sovac. The new project comes from the merge of amateur team Naturablue Cycling and Algerian continental team Velo Club Sovac.
“One of the dreams of our manager Geoffrey Coupé came true this morning. Davide Rebellin will be an important part of our team, both in terms of his sporting qualities and in terms of the experience he can bring to our young riders”, read a statement from the team.
Rebellin has won a stage at the 1996 Giro d’Italia and races like Tirreno-Adriatico, Paris-Nice, Liege-Bastogne-Liege, Clasica de San Sebastian, La Fleche Wallonne and the Amstel Gold Race.
He raced with Gerolsteiner, Liquigas and Francaise des Jeux before joining CCC in 2013
