Nacer Bouhanni was given a one-minute penalty and an 200CHF fine for making deliberate contact with another rider during stage 10 of the Tour de France.
The incident was caught by an overhead camera and shared on social media. In the footage, the Cofidis rider can be seen having a discussion in the peloton with an as yet unidentified cyclist of the Quick-Step Floors team. Bouhanni then strikes the rider with the right of his hand.
