Tadej Pogacar gave a blow to the competition in the first mountain stage of the Tour de France and smashed the climbing record on the mythical Col du Galibier on his way to stage 4 victory.

Pogacar averaged 6.28W/Kg for 20min48s on Col du Galibier and smashed Nairo Quintana’s 2019 record by 1min33s, all this with a strong headwind on the climb.
