Remco Evenepoel is fighting for a place on the podium in his very first Tour de France and the biggest cycling scene inevitably fuels transfer rumors.
HLN reports that in recent days, several sources within the peloton assured the Belgian publication that a deal between the time trial world champion and Red Bull-BORA-hansgrohe is imminent or even complete, something that the rider’s entourage continues to strongly deny.
The interest in Evenepoel, who is still under contract with Soudal Quick-Step until the end of 2026, is very strong in the peloton, but it comes from different teams. In addition to Red Bull-Bora-hansgrohe, UAE Team Emirates, Ineos Grenadiers and Israel-PremierTech, among others, are keeping in touch.
