Jasper Philipsen was relegated after the sixth stage finish of the Tour de France due to an irregular sprint.

The fast man from Alpecin-Deceuninck finished second in Dijon behind Dylan Groenewegen, but he was relegated to 107 in the final results for changing his sprinting line in the final meters and putting in danger Wout van Aert.

Biniam Girmay moved up to second place in the stage results, while Fernando Gaviria, who crossed the finish line fourth, has become the new number three.
