Bora-hansgrohe have confirmed their start list ahead of the 2019 Santos Tour Down Under, featuring a star-studded line-up.
Peter Sagan will return for the third consecutive year, on the back of his win at the Down Under Classic and Stage 4 in 2018.
Earlier in the year, Sagan said he was looking forward to coming back to South Australia for the race.
“Once again I am looking forward to being at the Santos Tour Down Under. This race holds a special place in my heart as it was my first race as neo pro in 2010,” Sagan said.
“The changes to the 2019 course will be exciting and the finale at Willunga Hill will be a spectacle for sure.”
He will be supported by the likes of Austrian National Champion Lukas Pöstlberger, Maciej Bodnar (Poland), Oscar Gatto (Italy) and Gregor Mühlberger (Austria).
Australian Jay McCarthy will return in 2019 along with Daniel Oss (Italy).
The Santos Tour Down Under is the opening event on the UCI WorldTour calendar and takes place from 10-20 January 2019 in Adelaide, South Australia.
