Felix Grossschartner (Bora-hansgrohe) has taken the victory in the queen stage of the Tour of Turkey and took the lead of the general classification.
The peloton had been due to tackle a 164.1 kilometre route from Bursa to Kartepe. But the race was reduced by four kilometres by organisers due to snowfall on the summit finish.
Ahead of the final stages of the stage Großschartner was part of a four-man group, but he kicked with around 200m to go and managed to secure a win that pushes him ahead of Bennett, who was leading the race up until that stage.
He finished nine seconds ahead of Valerio Conti (UAE Team Emirates) and Merhawi Kudus (Astana), who ended second and third, respectively.
Großschartner now leads the general classification by 19 seconds from the second-place Conti.
Tour of Turkey will conclude tomorrow with a 172km sprint stage from Sakarya to Istanbul.
