Singer Ed Sheeran has been involved in a collision with a car while riding his bike in London and was taken to hospital on Monday.
Sheeran has posted a picture of his arm in a cast after a “bit of a bicycle accident”. He told fans that his injury “might affect some of my upcoming shows” and asked fans to stay tuned for further news.
News of the accident was first broken by Australian DJ Smallzy, who tweeted: “Hope what I’m hearing isn’t true. Sources in LDN @edsheeran telling me he’s been hit by a car while riding a bike.. Sending healing vibes.”
Sheeran is due to fly to Asia this week ahead of a tour of the continent, but his injury could throw those concerts into doubt.
Fans in Taipei face an anxious wait to find out whether he will play a scheduled gig at the city’s Nangang Exhibition Hall on Sunday night.
