A 28-year-old man from Rowen in Conwy, U.K., has been jailed following a shocking collision in which a cyclist was seriously injured.
The CCTV footage shows Jake David Tomkinson veering onto the wrong side of the road before hitting the cyclist, causing him to somersault through the air and suffer serious injuries. North Wales Police has released the video with the permission of cyclist Gareth Evans in a bid to highlight the dangers of driving while tired.

A 28-year-old man has been jailed following a collision in which a cyclist was seriously injured.Jake David Tompkinson from Rowen in Conwy was sentenced to 12 months at Caernarfon Crown Court yesterday (Tuesday 13th March) following the collision which happened in Talybont, Conwy Valley in July last year.He was also banned from driving for two and a half years and must take an extended re-test.For Full details : https://www.north-wales.police.uk/news-and-appeals/driver-jailed-following-collision-with-cyclist.aspx

Tompkinson was sentenced to 12 months and banned from driving for two and a half years for the collision in which Gareth Evans sustained 22 injuries including a punctured and bruised lung.
