Egan Bernal will lead the Ineos Grenadiers team in the Tour de La Provence. The Colombian climber has Laurens De Plus at his side in the French four days for the first time.
Bernal started his season in the Etoile de Besseges last week, where he finished 64th overall. The Colombian was in the winning break on stage 3, which was eventually won by Tim Wellens.
Laurens De Plus, who came from Jumbo-Visma this season, will replace Michal Kwiatkowski. The Belgian is also on the shortlist to ride the Tour de France next summer. In addition to Bernal and De Plus, Eddie Dunbar, Gianni Moscon, Carlos Rodriguez, Iván Sosa and Ben Swift will be alongside Bernal in France.
