The coach of the Slovenian men’s national team Uroš Murn has revealed the names of the cyclists who will compete at the Paris Olympic Games.
Among them there will not be Tadej Pogacar, who canceled his participation because he is “too tired”.
He will be replaced by his team colleague Domen Novak, the management of the Slovenian Olympic team announced.
“We congratulate the winner of the Tour de France on another victory in the most prestigious cycling race in the world, and we hope that he too will represent the colors of Slovenia at the next Summer Olympics in Los Angeles in 2028,” wrote the national team management.
