Matteo Jorgenson will move to Jumbo-Visma next season, according to HLN.
The 23 year-old Movistar rider is about to sign a multi-year contract with the team of Jonas Vingegaard after Jumbo-Visma beat Soudal Quick-Step and Ineos Grenadiers in the battle for his signature.
Jumbo-Visma’s interest in the American was well known as the Dutch team is still looking to strengthen their team.
Jorgenson has had a very good spring and his contract with Movistar is expiring. He won the Tour of Oman and finished 4th in the E3 Saxo Classic, 9th in the Tour of Flanders and was second in the Tour de Romandie.
According to HLN, Ineos Grenadiers, UAE Team Emirates, Trek-Segafredo and Soudal Quick-Step were all interested in the American.
