Tom Pidcock will quickly start his road season after the Cyclocross World Championships in Fayetteville.

According to Het Nieuwsblad, the Briton will make his appearance in the Volta ao Algarve two weeks later, followed by the Omloop Het Nieuwsblad and Kuurne-Brussels-Kuurne.

Pidcock has just completed a two week training camp with Ineos Grenadiers and has prepared there for the Cyclocross World Championships, which will be held in Fayetteville at the end of January.

On February 16, the 22-year-old will already make his first road kilometers, in the Volta ao Algarve (February 16-20). For the Briton it will be a preparation race for the Flemish opening weekend, which is scheduled for 26 and 27 February.

According to the Belgian newspaper, Strade Bianche, Milan-Sanremo, Dwars door Vlaanderen, Tour of Flanders, Amstel Gold Race, Brabantse Pijl, Fleche Wallonne and Liège-Bastogne-Liège are also on Pidcock’s spring program in 2022.
