BBC reporter Dan Roan has posted a video of Bradley Wiggins refusing to answer questions outside his home about the mystery medical package that was delivered to Team Sky at the 2011 Criterium du Dauphine
The footage shows Wiggins coming out of his front door to tell the journalists that they were on private property and threatening to call the police. Wiggins was asked if he knew what was in the package delivered to doctor Richard Freeman for him at the end of the Criterium du Dauphine race in 2011.
Reaction to the the journalists’ approach was mixed on Twitter, with a significant number of users criticising the doorstepping. While some people have said the BBC was guilty of invading Wiggins’ privacy, others say that the continued silence does not reflect well on the 2012 Tour de France winner.
