American rider Lawson Craddock (EF Education First-Drapac) was lucky to escape serious injury after crashing into a parked car.
Video captured by a Tour of the Baque Country spectator shows the American rider hitting a parked car as the peloton came downhill and rounded a left-hand bend.
Tweeting after the stage, Craddock said that the crash had been caused by an Euskadi-Murias rider discarding his water bottle in the middle of the bunch.
