Rapha have released a commemorative jersey marking the end of the successful four-year partnership with Team Sky, and they’ve aptly named it ‘Le Départ’.
Celebrating every Team Sky rider to have ridden in Rapha jerseys since the London-based cycling lifestyle brand replaced Adidas as Sky’s kit partner in 2013, the jersey is based on Rapha’s Classic Jersey II and includes sewn-on badges celebrating some of the team’s biggest victories in that time.
The construction and fit of the jersey is the same as the Classic Jersey II, which is a new generation of Rapha’s iconic jersey, reworked for 2016. Cut from RPM 150, a new merino-based fabric, it is lighter, softer and more breathable. The jersey also has a reworked fit and reduced bulk.
The limited edition jersey costs €163/172$/£140 and is available to buy now.
