Greg Van Avermaet has posted his victorious Gent-Wevelgem ride on Strava and his stats are impressive.

The BMC ride completed the race distance of 249.7 kilometres at an average speed of 43.8kmh and achieved 16 top 10 segments and a KOM up the Kemmelberg during Sunday’s race.

Having launched the winning attack on the final ascent of the Kemmelberg, Van Avermaet took the KOM on that climb, matching Arnaud Demare to post a time of 3:48.

Van Avermaet’s win was the third of his Classics campaign, coming after victories at E3 Harelbeke and Omloop Het Nieuwsblad.
