New video shows a fan’s jacket over the barriers in the Tour of Flanders caused Peter Sagan to crash on the Oude Kwaremont.
In the footage posted on Twitter by Sagan, it appears that a jacket hanging over the barriers gets caught in the World Champion’s handlebars. The Slovak then steers towards the foot of the next barrier before crashing to the cobbles.
